Since a child, my parents would bring me to Yut Kee after church as we love the food here. Till now, at least 15 years had passed, we still come here whenever we’re down in KL or just craving for their chicken chop or fish chop, the gravy is just superb – at least I’ve haven’t tasted elsewhere as good as this. I’ve recommended this place to many friends and all of them loved it. I did a simple review few years back. So now, as this place is timeless, I’ll do another review on it again. Believe many had explored this place and wrote their thoughts and favourite dish, so here are mine.
Two slices of Pork Roll, RM 10 I was in luck the other day as usually everytime I asked for Pork Roll they normally sold out before 12pm or 12.30pm. So we managed to try out the Pork Roll. It’s crispy texture on the pig skin and tender meat in thin sliced with stuffings served with their special sauce. A must try, if your at Yut Kee. Just ask if they still have it, if they don’t try it next time around or come earlier. It’s available on weekends only! 😉
French Toast served with homemade kaya. Crispy bread warped around with thin layer of egg.
Roti Babi (Bread with Pork), RM 7.50 This is also their signature dish, pork stuffing in a bread. They cooked the pork sliced with onions and stuffed it into the bread. Superb!
Barley with lime.
Homemade Butter Cake
Homemade, Kaya Swiss Roll. Highly recommended, it’s really good. You can also get a box of swiss roll to takeaway just ask for it at the counter when you pay your bill or if your afraid it’s sold out you may make reservations during your order.
Fish Chop This is my favourite. Love the sauce, the texture of the fried fish and potatoes with onions, green beans, carrots and corns.
Traditional deco and layout.
Here’s their menu. Everything is on the wall. The cost perhead ranges from RM 7 – RM 15 for food and drinks inclusive.
The crowds on a Saturday lunch time.
Yut Kee Entrance, normally you’ll have to wait for about 10 – 15minutes for a table mostly sharing of tables. So don’t come when your too hungry. 😉
While waiting for your table you can check out the nice view of KL Tower too, for ladies, theres also a warning to beware of snatch theft as there was incident occurred your advised to stand in the pavement and not too outside as it is a busy road.
